Import backlinks

Import backlinks by uploading CSV files, pasting rows, previewing parsed data, and processing large imports in the background.

Import sources

Use CSV upload for structured exports from SEO tools. Use paste import when you have a small list of referring pages and target URLs.

A selected domain pre-fills the target context so imported links land in the right portfolio area.

Preview and mapping

The preview step lets you confirm columns before rows are inserted. Look for referring page URL, target URL, anchor text, tags, and notification fields.

If the preview cannot map a column, rename the CSV header or use the manual mapping controls before starting the import.

Repair CSV downloads list rows that need attention, including invalid URLs, duplicate rows, or missing target data.

Background processing

Large imports can run as asynchronous jobs. The progress panel shows queued, inserted, skipped, and failed rows as the worker proceeds.

If an import stalls, leave the page open long enough for polling to update, then check the import status page or worker logs.

Completion report

After import, review total rows processed, imported rows, duplicate skips, invalid skips, scan queue status, and the next dashboard step.

Duplicates are skipped so you do not spend checks on the same URL pair twice. Missing counts are shown only when LinkCheck has that data.
